SUMMARY:

John Green presents the history of the first "fertile crescent" civilizations in Mesopotamia between the rivers Tigris and Euphrates around 5,000 years ago. The man chronologically talks about successive civilizations starting from the city-state Uruk. Then about the floods and invasion of nomads, founding Babylon. In turn, Babylon was taken over by the Assyrians. During the film, he mentions the traditions, inventions of the inhabitants of Mesopotamia. For example, about the invention of writing, the Hammurabi's law or about the role of gods in the world, ziggurats.
